DK: E' un piacere per noi intervistare i Nokturne. Personalmente ritengo i Nokturne una delle migliori usbm bands: I motivi: forte disprezzo, aggressività, violenza. Questi sono i feelings che la musica dei Nokturne esprime.

Kaiser Drakhon: La scena black metal ha descritto il nostro sound rievocativo di quello di un carroarmato che schiaccia teschi nelle trincee. Apprezzo lo spirito black metal della vecchia scuola che continua a vivere attraverso i veterani e i nuovi "diehards". We must keep it going. E' nostro dovere cercare di mantenere quello spirito nel fronte decadente.

DK: Il nuovo album "Kruelty Kampaign" è senza dubbio il vostro miglior album. La registrazione è nettamente migliore e dona un impatto e una prominenza superiori alla musica. Cosa pensi di "KK"? Sei soddisfatto o cambieresti qualcosa?

Kaiser D.: Thanks man! Mi piace la nostra ultima release. E' il mio album preferito. Mi è sempre piaciuta la nostra musica, ma "Kruelty Kampaign" è uno dei migliori Nokturne albums. E' tanto cattivo quanto un album dei Satanic Warmaster.

DK: E' corretto secondo te definire il sound dei Nokturne come un "black metal martial attack"?

Kaiser D.: Mi piace la tua descrizione. Grazie.

DK: Parlaci dell'ideologia dei Nokturne...quali i motivi che vi spingono a suonare black metal? Cosa è per voi il BM?

Kaiser D.: L'antica ideologia è necessaria per raggiungere coloro con simili valori e abitudini nascoste di cui non hanno ancora coscienza. Suoniano BM per chiarire il vero significato del "warfare". I Nokturne supportano e ascoltano il duro bm europeo e qualche degna nsbm band. Qualsiasi altro "true metal" allineato in questo senso e che ha concezione piena del significato merita un ascolto ed è sempre apprezzato.

DK: Cosa pensi della guerra? E' necessaria per la ricostruzione delle cose e per la spiritualità dell'uomo, o è soltanto un massacro insensato?

Kaiser D.: La guerra fa parte dell'evoluzione umana. Sin dall'inizio dei tempi, la guerra è esistita attraverso la nostra antica carne e sangue. Tutta la storia vive attraverso il nostro sangue battagliero. Solo gli uomini piu nobili e valorosi sono nati dal seme degli dei della guerra. La guerra non è insensata, ma un percorso per il potere. Hail Victory!

DK: Cosa è successo ad Azmodeus (il vecchio screamer)? Le vocals di Psycho sono fottutamente malate! Grande screamerr...KRUEELTYYYY KAMPAAAAIGN KRUELTYYYY KAMPAAAAIGN!!! AAARRGHH!

Kaiser D.: Non so cosa è successo ad Azmodeus. E' sparito,immagino. Psycho ha preso il suo trono adesso, che vergogna.

DK: Contro chi è la vostra "Kruelty Kampaign"?

Kaiser D.: Mi pare ovvio. Potrebbe essere qualsiasi cosa o qualcuno che ti opprime nella tua vita. Un vigliaccio che continua a porgere l'altra guancia. Greedy foolish ass liars too.

DK: State componendo nuovo materiale? Qualche anticipazione? Girano voci su uno split coi Noctifer

Kaiser D.: Si, abbiamo composto qualche nuova traccia per un nuovo album. Il Nokturne Wargod Domination split coi Noctifer è completo, it kills! Ci ha portato via un anno per completarlo ma è ultimato. Il disco dovrebbe essere disponibile in questo anno su Baphomet/Red Stream (2006).

DK: Come è nata la collaborazioen con Killjoy dei Necrophagia?

Kaiser D.: Killjoy è un grande fan e supporter dei Nokturne. Lo abbiamo conosciuto a un festival a cui abbiamo partecipato insieme a Venom, Mayhem e Ravenous. Abbiamo dato a Killjoy il nostro demo e ci contattò dopo pochi giorni. Killjoy poi rilasciò l'album "Curse of the Nazarene" e la nostra collaborazione è continuata.

DK: L'ultima canzone "Tower of the Black Sun" suona molto differente osservando l'intero album...cosa mi dici di questo pezzo?

Kaiser D.: Scrissi io i riff per quella canzone e li portai al resto della band. Psycho aveva già i testi per questo pezzo. Abbiamo una versione differente su demo in cui Psycho fa tutte le voci. Quando più tardi abbiamo deciso di collaborare con Killjoy, gli abbiamo chiesto di suonare su questa canzone. Accettò e così ha fatto le vocals con Boris. Questo pezzo mi ricorda i vecchi Isengard/Darkthrone e Glen Danzig, effettivamente è una traccia particolare.

DK: Quali sono le bands che rispettate di più? Perchè?

Kaiser D.: I Noctifer sono un gruppo bm brutale romano che rispettiamo molto. Sono una delle migliori bands in Europa dedicati al 100% alla collaborazione con l'orda dei Nokturne. I Via Dolorosa sono un altro gruppo con cui siamo in contatto e li salutiamo!

DK: Un tour europeo? Ci sono parecchi "worshippers" che vi stanno aspettando...

Kaiser D.: Forse un tour invernale coi Noctifer. L'Hail Victory Tour. Sarebbe davvero un "cult" tour da provare.

1- Its a pleasure for us to interview Nokturne. Personally I think Nokturne is one of the best usbm bands. The reasons: strongly depreciation, aggression, violence. That are the feelings that Nokturne gives off.

Kaiser Drakon:
The black metal scene have described our sound reminiscent of what a tank smashing skulls in the trenches sounds like. I appreciate the old school Black Metal spirit that continues to live through the old school veterans and new diehards. We must keep it going. It is our duty here in the decaying front to keep it rolling.

2- The new album "Kruelty Kampaign" is surely your best album. The recording is clearly better and gives superior impact and prominence at the music. What do you think about "KK"? Are you satisfied or you'd changed something?

Thanks man! I do like our latest release. It is my favorite album as well. I never liked any of our music but Kruelty Kampaign is one of my favorite Nokturne albums. It is just as evil as any Satanic Warmaster album.

3- It's correct if I define Nokturne sound as a "black thrash martial attack"?

4- Talk about Nokturne "ideology"...which are the reasons you play bm? What BM is for you?

Ancient Ideology is needed to reach out to others with similar values and hidden customs they are not aware of. We play B.M. to enlighten the true meaning of warfare. Nokturne support and listen to harsh European B.M and some worthy N.S bands. Any true metal that is worth a listen and has meaning full substance is always appreciated.

5- What do you think about "war"? Is it necessary for reconstruction of things and the "spirituality" of man, or is it only a senseless massacre?

War is part of human evolution. Since the beginning of time war has been existent through our own ancient flesh and blood. All past history lives through our war blood. Only the boldest, bravest noble men were born out of the war gods semen. War is not senseless it is the path to power. Hail Victory!

6- what's happened to Azemodeus? Psycho's vocals are fucken sick! Great screamer...KRUEELTYYYY KAMPAAAAIGN KRUELTYYYY KAMPAAAAIGN!!! AAARRGHH!

I dont know what happened to Azmodeus. He is lost I imagine. Psykho has taken away his throne now, what a shame.

7- Against who is youre "Kruelty Kampaign"?

It is obvious. It could be any thing or any one that oppresses you through out your life. A Coward that continues to turn the other cheek. Greedy foolish ass liars too.

8- Are you composing new stuff? Any anticipation? I know rumors about a split with
Noctifer...

Yes, Nokturne have composed a few new tracks for a new full length album. The Nokturne Wargod Domination split with Noctifer is complete and It kills !!! It took about a year to complete but it is finished. The disc should available sometime this year on Baphomet/ Red Stream (2006).

9- How is born the cooperation with Killjoy of Necrophagia?

Killjoy is a big fan and supporter of Nokturne. We met at a festival were Venom, mayhem, Ravenous and Nokturne were playing on the same stage. We gave killjoy a Nokturne demo and he contacted us a few weeks later. Killjoy then released Nokturnes Curse of Nazarene c.d. since then we have continued to collaborate.

10- The Last one song "Tower of The Black Sun" sounds very different looking the whole
album...talk about this song

I wrote the riffs for this song and showed the song to the rest of the band. Psykho had previous lyrics for this piece. We have a different demo dirty version with Psykho doing all the vocals. Nokturne later on decided to collaborate with Killjoy and we asked him to play on this song. He accepted and he did necroshrieks and vocals on this track along with Boris. This song reminds me of old Isengard/ Dark Throne meets with Glen Danzig, it is a special Nokturne track indeed.

11- Which are the bands that deserve your respect? Why ?

Noctifer is a brutal Latin B.M. group we respect very much. They are one of the best bands in Europe that were 100% dedicated to collaborate with the Nokturne horde. Via Dolorosa is another Italian group we are in contact with, we hail them aswell!!

12- An European tour? Many underground worshippers are awaiting your coming...

Soon maybe a winter tour with Nokturne/ Noctifer. The Hail Victory Tour ! That would be a cult tour to experience.
